ANKENY, Iowa – Firefighters battled a blaze in Ankeny overnight after a home caught fire.
Crews from the Ankeny Fire Department responded to the home in the 900 block of NE 34th Street, near the Briarwood Golf Course, around 1:40 a.m. after a 911 call came in from the homeowners.
