KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – KCTV5 has been named the 2026 Large Market Station of the Year by the Missouri Broadcasters Association (MBA), marking the third consecutive year the station has received the organization’s top honor.
KCTV5 earned 14 total awards at the MBA’s annual convention Saturday, June 6, in Osage Beach, Missouri, including more first-place awards than any other large-market station in the state.
“KCTV5 is a very special place, and having this team honored for the third straight year for how they inform, protect, and uplift the people of Kansas City is deeply gratifying,” said KCTV5 Vice President and General Manager Curtis Miles. “It’s a powerful reflection of the purpose and pride they bring to serving our neighbors every day.”
