WALDORF, Md. — A Waldorf man was charged with impersonating a police officer after a Maryland State Police trooper reported seeing a vehicle using emergency lights and a siren while traveling through Charles County.
Jimmy Darrell Broyles-Kennedy, 55 of Waldorf, was charged with impersonating a police officer following the June 5, 2026, incident.
The case began around 7:19 a.m. when a Maryland State Police corporal was responding to a motor vehicle collision on eastbound Route 228 at St. Charles Parkway.
