Gun-related road rage incident ends with arrest and K-9 bite

EVANSVILLE, Ind (WEHT) – Evansville Police say a road rage incident involving a gun ended with a man bitten by a K9 and taken to the hospital, facing criminal charges.

Evansville-Vanderburgh Dispatch confirms the call originally came in at 11:57 AM and led to a heavy police presence in the 1200 block of Harmony Way, on the northwest side of Evansville, on Tuesday.

Authorities tell Eyewitness News the suspect, who allegedly pointed a gun at another person, refused to get out of his vehicle. Police say when the man did get out, force was used to prevent him from going inside his home. That force included deploying a K9 and rounds of pepper balls…
