LANSING — A line of storms moved across mid-Michigan on Tuesday, June 9, causing minor tree and property damage stretching from western Eaton County into Saginaw County, officials said.
A storage barn was destroyed in Oneida Township, a few miles east of Mulliken, around 10:15 a.m., and damage to trees and electrical wires was reported in the Grand Ledge area about 20 minutes later, according to the National Weather Service and Eaton County Emergency Management.
A tree fell on a house in a manufactured home community in Grand Ledge, but it was unclear if it caused any structural damage, a county official said. The emergency management office was inviting residents to report any damage they experienced…
