LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – A convicted murderer pleaded guilty to killing his cellmate at the Montford Unit.
San Diego Delgado pleaded guilty to the murder of Ta’Varis Jones. Delgado confessed to Judge William Eichman he strangled Jones inside their cell at the unit in January 2024.
He will finish out his current sentence before beginning a new 30-year stint for Jones’ death…
