Robinson HS graduate killed in Iraq brought back to U.S.

Fort Carson, Colorado (FOX 44) – A Fort Carson official has confirmed that the body of Sgt. Devin A. Seibel who was killed in a training accident in Iraq has been returned to American soil.

His dignified transfer took place at Dover Air Force Base.

As of Tuesday, Fort Carson officials said a time and date for a memorial service have yet to be determined.

Sgt Seibel died on May 31, 2026, at Erbil Airbase, Iraq, during a training-related incident. The Soldier was assigned to the Air Ambulance Company, 2nd Battalion, 4th Combat Aviation Brigade, Fort Carson, Colo. The incident is under investigation…
