CASTLE ROCK – The Douglas County Board of Commissioners met Tuesday for a regular meeting to discuss possible changes in a new proposed ordinance regulating low-powered scooters and off-highway vehicles.
“The proposed ordinance comes in response to growing safety concerns involving the operation of certain motorized vehicles on public roads, trails and other public property throughout Douglas County,” the county stated in a press release sent out.
