SPOKANE, Wash. — A sergeant with the Spokane Police Department (SPD) is being recognized for his quick actions after pulling an 82-year-old woman from a burning home in the 500 block of W Sumner Ave on June 7th.
According to SPD, Sgt. Mohondro was about a block away on patrol around 11:20 p.m., and found the house already burning before Spokane Fire Department crews arrived.
