‘Last Call’ Bars in Pittsfield That Are Open Late

On the radio this morning there was a lot of talk of the upcoming World Cup Soccer tournament, the first in the U.S. since 1994. Milltown’s Andy Wrba, who continues to play Berkshire league men’s over 40 soccer, gave Marjo and I some insight of what to expect if you are attending a game at Gillette. Wrba chose the France and Norway match up to attend, it only cost him $300.

With the World Cup frenzy comes watch parties – so here in Massachusetts, the government has allowed for some party time extension when it comes to boozing at the bars.

Governor Healey just signed a temporary pilot program allowing bars and restaurants in Massachusetts to extend last call by one hour, up to 3:00 a.m. through July 31, 2026. Cities and towns have to opt in locally, so it’s not automatic everywhere…
