CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A head-on collision occurred in Clifton Park on Tuesday evening. The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office said it took place near Hayner’s Ice Cream and Country Store around 7 p.m.

Authorities said a pickup truck was carrying gravel when the driver lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle collided head-on with another car.

The collision caused the car to roll over, and entrapped the driver, the sheriff’s office said. The driver was sent to Samaritan Hospital for injuries that are believed to be non-life-threatening.
