LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – Fayette County Public Schools is moving forward with its annual audit process, with a vendor selection vote scheduled for the next board meeting.
Interim Chief Financial Officer Kyna Koch told board members during Monday’s meeting they will vote on a vendor who will audit the current fiscal year.
The annual audit goes to the Audit Committee, the Board and the Kentucky Department of Education. The Audit Committee developed the district’s request for proposal, the document asking vendors to submit bids for the job. Koch said the deadline for the bids is this Friday…
