AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – Juneteenth celebration week starts this Wednesday in Amarillo, with events lasting until Father’s Day.
On Wednesday, June 10, organizers say celebrations will start with a business community connection at Delvin’s Restaurant, 1300 N. Hughes, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
On June 11, there will be the Juneteenth Pageant at 6:30 p.m. at Palo Duro High School, 1400 N. Grand Street.
