Black Mountain faces nearly $2M budget shortfall as officials weigh layoffs, tax increases

BLACK MOUNTAIN, N.C. (WLOS) — Black Mountain officials are working to close a nearly $2 million budget gap as rising costs and recovery expenses continue to strain town finances.
