PARMA, Ohio — After the Parma City Schools Board of Education was unable to appoint a new member to replace Leah Euerle, who stepped down on May 7, the matter went to probate court with Judge Anthony Russo this week placing Patrick McCune in the vacant seat.
The initial effort appeared to be moving forward over the last month with the district narrowing down 15 applicants to six finalists — including McCune — interviewed in executive decision before landing on a candidate, Seven Hills resident John Reid.
