Fort Wayne Man Sentenced to Five Years in Federal Prison on Firearms Charges

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A Fort Wayne man has been sentenced to five years in federal prison after admitting to illegally possessing a firearm despite prior felony and domestic violence convictions.

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Indiana, 39-year-old Kenneth Porter was sentenced May 28 by Chief U.S. District Judge Holly A. Brady after pleading guilty to being a felon in possession of a firearm and possessing a firearm following a misdemeanor domestic violence conviction.
