Tennessee Tourist Faces Felony After Florida Umbrella Dispute Lands 72-Year-Old Worker In Hospital

A 30-year-old tourist was arrested on felony charges Tuesday after a dispute over a pool umbrella left a 72-year-old resort employee with multiple injuries.

Deputies responded to the Beachside Two resort on June 9 following reports of a physical altercation. According to the Walton County Sheriff’s Office, the incident started when a guest, identified as Collin Ross of Memphis, Tennessee, tried to take a pool umbrella from an area reserved strictly for employees.
