Kentucky woman convicted of TennCare fraud

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – A Kentucky woman has been convicted of TennCare fraud.

The Office of Inspector General (OIS) said Wednesday that 48-year-old Emily Stevens, of Fulton, Kentucky, did not disclose that she was no longer a Tennessee resident and continued to receive TennCare benefits despite not being eligible.

As a result, Stevens has been convicted of one count of theft of services from $10,000 to $60,000…
