More than 7K Johnson Co. residents without power as storm hits

A line of severe thunderstorms that produced wind gusts of nearly 60 mph knocked out power for several thousand residents in Johnson County.

More than 9,000 customers were in the midst of a power outage around 11:45 a.m. on Wednesday, June 10, according to Mid American Energy.
