DES MOINES, Iowa — Two weeks after being sentenced, former DMPS Superintendent Ian Roberts has been transferred to an Illinois facility.
On May 29, former Des Moines Public Schools Superintendent Ian Roberts was sentenced to 24 months in prison after taking a guilty plea to false statement for employment and illegal alien in possession of a firearm.
Roberts will get credit for time served and, once his sentence is completed, will be turned over to ICE custody, where he will remain until he is deported to Guyana, according to reports…
