Arrest made in Far North Side robbery that left victim pistol-whipped, truck stolen

SAN ANTONIO – A San Antonio teenager was arrested in connection with an armed home invasion in May on the Far North Side.

Michael Jarome Randolph Jr., 19, was charged with aggravated robbery after police said he was one of three masked suspects who forced their way into a home around 1:30 a.m. May 7 off Canyon Golf Road near Wilderness Oak.

According to the arrest report, the suspects got into the home through the garage and held three men at gunpoint while they stole rifles, video game consoles, high-priced shoes and a thermal optic. One victim was also struck in the face with a handgun during the incident…
