EUGENE, Ore. – Police arrested a man after residents reported he was trespassing on their front porch and engaging in lewd behavior, according to the Eugene Police Department.
EPD officials said that officers responded to a home in the 1600 block of Ferry Street at 11:34 p.m. on June 8. Residents called police after finding a man, identified in court records as Mathew Thomas Douglas-Martin, lying on their porch couch, making the young people living there uncomfortable. An officer recognized the description from an earlier arrest that night involving someone trying to break into an apartment. Police told the residents to lock their door and stay inside.
