Plainfield Township roundabout opens after construction

PLAINFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — A new roundabout on 10 Mile Road and Pine Island Drive in Plainfield Township is open after months of construction.

Roundabout construction begins at intersection near Rockford

The Kent County Road Commission announced that construction was completed at the roundabout. Temporary lighting has been installed, with permanent street lighting set to be completed by Consumers Energy.

The commission assured drivers they would have ample space to navigate the roundabout after concerns were voiced during construction.
