HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – Neighbors in West Huntsville are speaking out about dangerous drivers in their community. One Sherwood Park resident said his life has been put in danger several times by speeding drivers.
“I witnessed a man pushing his stroller with his child and walking a dog down the street on Marsh Ave. almost got hit, and I almost got hit by somebody rolling through a stop sign,” said Jonathan Thomas. “I almost got hit by somebody rolling through a stop sign and then somebody swerving because they were flying and not paying attention early in the morning.”

The speed limit is 25 mph in Sherwood Park, but Thomas said cars running stop signs and speeding are putting pedestrians at risk.
“There’s a few times I know people were running 60 going down Marsh Avenue,” he said. “It’s posted on all the streets, 25 [mph] and they just fly.”…
