Murfreesboro Water Resources Department test drinking water for lead and copper

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WKRN) — Murfreesboro is testing its drinking water to make sure it’s safe for residents, and they’re looking for locals to help with the testing.

To make sure the drinking water stays safe, Murfreesboro is testing around 100 homes to make sure the water is lead and copper-free.

Every three years, the Murfreesboro Water Resources Department conducts lead and copper water testing. The city looks at five tiers to determine if a household has a lead or copper issue…
