Stalking suspect accused of following ex-girlfriend, making repeated phone calls

A San Antonio man is accused of stalking his ex-girlfriend by repeatedly calling her, following her around town and lingering outside her home, according to police.

Cavin Jemont Coleman, 47, was arrested Tuesday and charged with stalking, a third-degree felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine. He was booked into the Bexar County jail and released Wednesday after posting a $10,000 bond.

According to an arrest affidavit, Coleman’s ex-girlfriend first reported him to the Olmos Park Police Department in September. She told officers that he called her repeatedly from a phone number with no caller ID and drove by her house…
