KERRVILLE — About 600 homes and 100 businesses were damaged in the Hill Country northwest of San Antonio during last week’s flooding, state officials said Monday.
Kerr County, which was the epicenter of last summer’s fatal July 4 flood, has also reported the most damage from last week’s flood, Gov. Greg Abbott said during a news conference in Kerrville, although a portion of the damage occurred in different areas along the Guadalupe River than were affected last year.
