Hawaii’s barren Biki bike ramps may bounce back

HONOLULU (KHON2) — City officials said the Biki bike share program is showing signs of life.

The fleet of available bikes has grown since April, but it is still far below the pre-pandemic peak.

The Department of Transportation Services said Biki is slowly recovering. There were 478 bikes available for riders at the end of April, 2026 and the fleet increased to 595 as of Wednesday, June 10 — that is still less than half of the pre-COVID peak…
