N.H. Supreme Court overturns murder conviction for father of Harmony Montgomery

The New Hampshire Supreme Court overturned on Thursday the murder conviction of Adam Montgomery, the father of a 5-year-old whose remains have not been found.

Adam Montgomery had been sentenced in May 2024 to 56 years to life in prison after he was found guilty of beating Harmony Montgomery to death in December 2019.

A ruling by the high court reversed the second-degree murder conviction but affirmed the convictions on his other charges, including second-degree assault, falsifying physical evidence, witness tampering and abuse of a corpse…
