ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. (WVIR) – Homeowners with browning lawns during the drought should not panic yet, as experts say a few simple changes to lawn care can make a big difference.
Water your lawn before or after sunrise when evaporation is the lowest. When you mow, raise the blade as taller grass shades the soil, slows evaporation and helps roots grow deeper.
