Authorities save baby deer from running onto Highway 41

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – A quick-thinking deputy helped keep a baby deer out of harm’s way in Evansville.

The Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office says the young deer was found near Highway 41 and St. George and seemed “determined to enter the highway.”
