GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A Thai restaurant on Grand Rapids’ northeast side has closed.
Mai’s Thai at 1220 College Ave. NE near Leonard Street announced its “permanent closure” Wednesday evening. The restaurant formerly had a spot on Michigan Street but relocated last year to College Avenue.
“Due to unexpected circumstances, we have made the difficult decision to close our doors,” Mai’s Thai wrote in a social media post. “This was not an easy choice, but it is the right one for our family at this time.”
