Harrisburg man charged with attempted homicide after ‘ruthlessly beating’ wife, police say

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — A woman was hospitalized at Harrisburg Hospital after police said she was “ruthlessly” beaten by her husband, who now faces attempted homicide and other charges.

Harrisburg Police said in charging documents that Frederick Jackson, 37, of Harrisburg, allegedly beat the woman “from head to toe,” leaving her with severe injuries. When police were called to the hospital in April, she was in a neck collar.
