INDIANAPOLIS — As Indiana GOP delegates prepare to choose their nominee for Secretary of State next week, Independent candidate and former Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard said on Thursday he believes he will get the roughly 40,000 petition signatures necessary to appear on the ballot, although he didn’t say how many more signatures he still needs.
“I would suggest to you that we’re moving along really nicely, very confident in our approach,” said Ballard. “I think we’ll be there. Actually, I’m very confident that we’ll be there.”
