MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – Hundreds of families waited in line Thursday morning to receive food and essentials from Feed the Children, FedEx and Women’s Foundation for a Greater Memphis.
The three organizations teamed up to help 400 families in the Frayser community. Each family received a 25-pound box of shelf-stable food and a 15-pound box of personal care items and other essentials.
As the cost of food and basic necessities continues to rise, one Memphis resident said the assistance was especially needed for her family…
