Memphis hairstylist who inspired generations dies at 92

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A beloved Memphis hairstylist whose decades-long career inspired generations of clients and coworkers has died at the age of 92.

Earlier this year, Eunice Boddie celebrated her 92nd birthday while continuing to work as a stylist at Gould’s Salon Spa, marking an extraordinary 71 consecutive years with the company.

On Wednesday, Gould’s announced Boddie’s death, honoring her legacy and the impact she made during more than seven decades in the beauty industry.

“For 71 consecutive years, she dedicated her talent, passion, and heart to the Gould’s family,” the company said in a statement. “At 92 years old, she leaves behind a legacy that few could ever match, a career defined not only by exceptional skill as a stylist, but by the countless lives she touched along the way.”…
