A woman having a “hissy fit” at BJ’s Wholesale Club allegedly hit a shopping cart with a shovel when she didn’t get the attention she felt she deserved.
The chaotic day for 29-year-old Jennifer George, of Ocala, began at about 2: p.m. Tuesday at the gas station outside BJ’s in Lady Lake.
According to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office, George had requested assistance from the gas station attendant. When the attendant did not help her to her satisfaction, George admitted to deputies that she “threw a hissy fit” and cursed the man out. She claimed nothing physical occurred.
However, the attendant and security footage told a different story. The victim told deputies that George, who stands 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 240 pounds, aggressively approached him and grabbed him by the jaw.
