There were smiles, cheers, and plenty of happy tears as 16 children from Mi Escuelita Therapeutic Preschool proudly walked across the stage to receive their diplomas.
The graduation ceremony marked a major milestone for students who have overcome significant challenges, including exposure to domestic violence and trauma at a young age.
Mi Escuelita, a program of the nonprofit South Bay Community Services (SBCS), provides specialized early childhood education and therapeutic support for children and families affected by domestic violence.
