Now-former Gretna Police Chief accepts new Chief of Police role in Quincy

GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla. (WCTV) – The Gretna Police Chief is leaving his post to serve as Quincy Police Chief four months after Quincy’s former Chief of Police was terminated, according to a city press release.

Now, former Gretna Police Chief Brian Alexander has worked for the city of Gretna since June 2017, per the media release. Before working at the police department, Alexander was at the Gadsden County Sheriff’s Office for over 20 years.
