A woman whose car was linked to a popular local waitress’s Nov. 2 murder told a jury Thursday she was unaware of what happened in a nearby parking lot while she waited for the two men charged in the case to return.
Brooklyn Cobian, 20, said she remained in her red Honda Civic’s passenger seat with AirPods headphones in her ears for about 15 to 20 minutes while Marshaun Purley and Marvin Pettaway walked out of sight from an apartment complex southwest of Reynolds Road and Hill Avenue.
