Sabrina Aisenberg case: Family hopes new image can solve 1997 disappearance of Valrico baby

VALRICO, Fla. (WFLA) — A new photo has been released showing what Sabrina Aisenberg may look like now — 28 years after the 5-month-old vanished from her crib in Valrico.

The age-progression image was sent out Thursday by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in hopes that someone might recognize Sabrina, even after more than two decades.

“We hope this image of Sabrina reaches someone who recognizes her, or perhaps even Sabrina herself, and helps bring long-awaited answers to her family and the community,” said John Bischoff, vice president of the NCMEC’s Missing Children Division.

Sabrina’s parents, Marlene and Steve Aisenberg, said they woke up around 6:30 a.m. on Nov. 24, 1997, and discovered their daughter was missing. She had been sound asleep in her crib but was nowhere to be found that morning.
