BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – Hosanna Christian Academy, a private Christian school that has served families in the Baton Rouge area for decades, will close at the end of July and will not reopen for the 2026-27 school year, school leaders said.
In a letter dated June 11, the school said it has suffered large financial losses it can no longer sustain, citing changes in state scholarship programs and actions taken in the Louisiana Legislature over the past two years.
