Adams County leaders, Amish community begin new dialogue focused on communication and safety

ADAMS COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) — Adams County leaders are taking what they describe as the first step toward building a stronger relationship with the local Amish community after holding an initial meeting with Amish representatives Wednesday.

County officials say the goal is to improve communication and create a direct line of dialogue between county government and a population that makes up a significant portion of Adams County.
