Alamance County sheriff asks for Green Level’s help after large party resulted in arrests, charges: ‘People are scared to death’

ALAMANCE COUNTY, N.C. (WGHP) — A party in Alamance County over the weekend resulted in 20 arrests, 72 charges and 11 guns being seized, according to the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office.

After shutting down a party of more than 2,500 people on Saturday, Alamance County Sheriff Terry Johnson met with Green Level town leaders to look for solutions.

‘Should Not Happen’

“One person was stabbed. One person had his throat cut … That should not happen in America. That should not happen in Alamance County, and it should not happen in Green Level,” Johnson said.
