LAURENS COUNTY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – The Laurens County Sheriff’s Office reported that a suspect shot at a deputy before shooting himself during a disturbance call early Friday morning.
Officials said that a deputy was called to a domestic disturbance in the 3000 block of Torrington Road. Upon arrival, the suspect exited the home and began shooting at the deputy. The deputy was not injured.
The sheriff’s office reported that shortly after, the suspect shot himself and was taken to the hospital for further medical treatment.
