SYRACUSE, N.Y. — A gigantic acrylic viewing panel destined for the shark exhibit at Onondaga County’s Harborview Aquarium has officially arrived at the construction site after completing an extraordinary international journey from Italy to Syracuse.
The massive slab, which arrived Tuesday, will eventually serve as the main viewing window for the aquarium’s future shark tank exhibit. Construction officials say the panel is one of the most impressive and important features of the entire project.
