IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG) – A new Johnson County program is helping people get medical equipment like wheelchairs and walkers at no cost, while keeping usable equipment from going to waste.
The Community Medical Lending Library hosted a pop-up event at River Community Church in Iowa City Thursday. The event is designed for people who only need the equipment short term, with items returned when they’re no longer needed.
