Eight wineries from the region combined to win 66 medals, including eight prestigious “Diamond of the Decade” honors recognizing wines that have aged exceptionally well over 10 to 20 years. In all, 29 wines produced within the Lake Chelan American Viticultural Area earned awards.
Among the top winners were entries from Callan Cellars, Rocky Pond Estate Winery, Tsillan Cellars, and Larc Hill Vineyard Ranch. The total medal breakdown for the Lake Chelan Wine Valley includes:
- 3 Double Gold ~ Diamond of the Decade medals
- 5 Double Gold medals
- 3 Gold ~ Diamond of the Decade medals
- 38 Gold medals
- 17 Silver medals
