Spokane swim instructor shares life-saving tips for kids around water

SPOKANE, Wash. — As temperatures rise, so will the amount of people hitting the water to cool off across the Inland Northwest. One Spokane swim instructor reminds us that there are crucial steps to take to keep children safe around water.

“The thing that really scares me the most is that ages one through four, the number one cause of death is drowning,” said Samantha Tiemann-Kvinta.
