CHENEY, Wash. – The Cheney School District will cut its 5th grade supplemental music instruction for the 2026-27 school year.
Jenna Larson, the communications coordinator for the Cheney School District said band and orchestra would be impacted by the cut, but K-5 CORE instructional music courses will not be impacted.
